Study of efficiency and safety of neuroleptic drugs of the first and the second generations during inpatient treatment of schizophrenic patients

The carried out study is directed at comparative study of drugs (haloperidol, aripiprazole and paliperidone) for the purpose of identification of significant differences across parameters of clinical efficiency and therapeutic safety in schizophrenic patients at the stage of inpatient treatment. 80 patients with schizophrenia were exposed to clinical-psychopathologic and psychometric examination, they were divided into 2 groups: responders (n=52) and non-responders (n=28). In the course of study the results of efficiency and safety of neuroleptic drugs of the first and the second generations for reduction of acute states within schizophrenia have been demonstrated.
