Предполагается, что характеристики устройства, включая конструкцию стента, могут быть предикторами неблагоприятных исходов после стентирования сонной артерии (ССА). На рынке появляются новые конструкции стентов, производители которых заявляют о способности предотвращать интра- и послеоперационные эмболии. В статье представлен обзор клинических исследований, сравнивающих частоту рестоноза и ишемических осложнений различных конструкций каротидных стентов. Теоретически стенты с закрытыми ячейками и двухслойные стенты в большей степени предотвращают постимплантационные эмболии в головной мозг, чем стенты с открытыми ячейками. Однако клиническая значимость этого явления не доказана, и данные о влиянии различных типов каротидных стентов на результаты стентирования остаются противоречивыми. Во многих случаях выбор стента диктуется анатомией целевого сосуда. Возможно, результаты новых рандомизированных контролируемых исследований (РКИ) смогут прояснить клиническую значимость различных конструкций стентов.
