The ideal education of the modern citizen of the Russian society in his social axiological self-determination

The article considers the problem of finding the ideal of education in the Russian society and the choice of values of self-determination of contemporary student youth at the present stage of development of Russia has been substantiated. The methods of poll, observation and survey have produced the following results: the majority of students (56%) are in the search process for their ideal education, from the practical position they poorly focus and reflect on the issues of the search for the ideal education of the modern citizen of the Russian society. When choosing foundations for their self-determination the students would rather substantiate for themselves material and technical values than spiritual and moral ones. The article indicates that their university socialization has been burdened by the problems of social psychological instability and volatility in social relations. The theoretical model for solving the problem has been suggested.
