The article reveals the content of the health-saving competence of a teacher in a preschool educational institution. The article presents the system of forming the professional competence of teachers in the kindergarten No. 215 (Kolosok) in Ulyanovsk. The article considers the analysis of information and educational work aimed at increasing the theoretical and practical readiness of teachers for health-saving activities. It allows the authors to conclude that non-standard, interactive forms of methodical work, unusual educational organization, and methodology are more effective than traditional classes with a strict structure and with constant mode of operation. The necessity of a rational combination of interactive and traditional forms of methodical training is proved. The authors recommend implementing the model of forming the health-saving competence of the preschool teacher in each educational organization.
