The value foundation of a humanistic approach to education

The paper explored a humanistic approach with some axiological principles in the core. The authors considered an issue of humanistic education, which contributes to personal progress and to raising creative potential as well as shaping a value picture of the world. The authors have brought to light the problem of individual set of values as one of the grounds for communication in cross-cultural environment. A foreign language, namely the English is specified as a means for cross-cultural communication.
