This article to the study of gender aspect of the valued orientations of students (grandchildren) and their grandmothers. At advanced age not numerous publications, especially in a perspective of inter-generational transfer are devoted to gender aspect of consciousness, and this work fills this shortage. Grandmothers are more included in process of education of granddaughters, transferring them family traditions and vital values. The author of the article examines the valued orientations of young girls and their idea about the valued orientations of their grandmothers. An author takes into account the social situation of our time and that, how she affects attitude toward a sear and yellow leaf, that especially topically in our days. Article fills the interest caused by relations of people of advanced age with a significant others and problems of intergenerational transfer. The author has revealed succession of the majority of significant terminal and tool values of girls and grandmothers, and also the values having gender coloring which "are inherited" on the female line are revealed and can provide the young girl with productive life and efficiency in affairs. The author of article pays attention that granddaughters have an opportunity, having joined valuable orientations of the grandmothers, to create orientation to knowledge of, development of consciousness, spirituality, importance of creative activities.
