Current ways of the national standardization of modern engineering industry in the field of biotechnologies

The article is devoted to the problems of national standardization which is an evidential basis of Technical Standards regulating technical level of modern production of products and services. On the basis of dairy industry of a food sector and dairy butter in particular typical problems of the Russian biotechnologies and their role in modern engineering industry are considered. On the basis of the Russian State Standards (GOST) of the previous years main contradiction between the Russian dairy butter manufacturer and modern global experience including substitution of the notions “dairy butter” and “ spread” is shown in their general sense.New State Standards (GOST) is accompanied by aggressive information disputes on the advantages of dairy butter and its negative effect on the body in comparison with light butter that is spread on the one hand and transgenic vegetable fat in spread bought due to their low cost on the other hand.It is not referred to the advantage of this or that product but to the contravention of a basic principle of General Standard to use terms of dairy industry CODEX STAN 2006-1999 that is the description and presentation of products should be provided with accurate use of terms of dairy industry, and should contribute to fair practice of food product tradeand deliberate or non-deliberate deception of consumers is not allowed.Economic aspects of products manufacturing are shown. Modern standards corresponding to general rules and being evidential basis for Technical Standards are intended to provide high level of diversification of engineering industry including biotechnologies and correspondingly competitive food products.
