Contemporary issues of investment climate development in the sphere of tourism

The article views the sphere of tourism in conjunction with related sectors of economy; identifies the key challenges to regional tourist infrastructure development, which requires qualitative change and solid investment; and defined the major deterrents to investment activity in the tourist industry. The authors see special economic zones as instrumental to promoting investment highlights, and demonstrate the need for the private-public partnership mechanism development and the information support of the investment process, specifically, introducing a statistical reporting system covering a wider range of type- and region- related investment evaluation indices.
