Academic culture of Russian university

The purpose of the article is to identify the characteristics of modern academic culture in Russian university. The authors used data from the sociological research “Study and student life at the university”, which was conducted in Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod in 2015. As research technique we employed standardized questionnaire for a mass survey of students from different specializations and year of study. The authors attempted to generalize interpretations of the definition “academic culture”, describe its structure and transformations.
