M. Gaddafi’s “gold initiative” as a challenge to the new world order

Formation of the new world order is almost complete, so today one can observe the attempts to protect it rather than to expand it further. Since its rise, it has always been met with resistance. Our time is no exception. One of the recent challenges to the new world order had been the initiative of Gaddafi to introduce the gold dinar and keep the independence of the central bank. The intervention in Libya, which ended in the overthrow of the Gaddafi regime, had no solid legal basis, while the official motives concealed the desire to maintain the dominance of the world currency.
