The importance of the juvenile suspect's personal forensic characteristics for verifying testimony at the scene

The paper deals with the influence of the juvenile suspect’s personal characteristics on the procedure for preparing and conducting verification of testimony at the scene. On the example of individual components of socio-demographic, moral, psychological and biological properties, as well as on the basis of empirical data, the author justifies the importance of personal forensic characteristics for the successful production of verification of testimony at the scene. The role of family composition, social status and social views of its members in the formation of juvenile psychological characteristics is investigated, the dependence of socio-demographic personal traits and the specifics of juvenile suspect’s behavior during investigative actions is established. The author reveals the influence of personal moral and psychological characteristics on the order of preparation and verification of testimony at the scene. As part of the consideration of the significance of personal biological traits, special attention is paid to mental status.
