The authors study the dependence of human fate on one''s upbringing. On the basis of motivational approach to upbringing and Abkhazian national pedagogy they perform a social and pedagogical analysis of the autobiographic novel “School Waltz, or the Energy of Shame” by Fasil Iskander.
