The article presents the materials from the excavations of 2017 at the settlement of Stary Moskovsky Trakt-5, which is a part of the group of sites from different periods located on the left bank of the Tartas River in the northwestern part of the Baraba forest-steppe region. Structural features of a dwelling (semi-dugout type, round shape of the dwelling pit, presence of special entrance, clay covering of the floor) and data about its interior arrangement (fireplace in the center and household utensils along the walls) are described. The parallels to the pottery associated with the dwelling have been found in flat-bottomed Neolithic complexes from the Transurals and Western Siberia (Amninsky, Kayukovsky, Koshkinsky, and Boborykinsky complexes). The closest parallels to the complex in question in Baraba occur among the materials from the sites of Avtodrom-2 and Tartas-1, whose cultural attribution is not yet settled, but the date is not later than the first half of the fifth millennium BC.
