"Green" zone: reality or provocation (the practice of countering radicalization of convicted persons in prisons in the Republic of Tatarstan)

Introduction: this article analyzes the current situation of the spread of radical Islam in prisons, are the causes and conditions of poverty. Special attention is given to the positive practice of countering radicalization of convicted in the Republic of Tatarstan. Practical recommendations are given to minimize the spread of radical Islam in prisons. Materials and Methods: material to study served as writings on Criminology, criminal and criminal-executive law, sociology, psychology, pedagogy, as well as Anti-terrorist activities of the Commission in practice The Republic Of Tatarstan. When the preparation of the article applied sociological, statistical, legal and documentary methods, allowing to analyze and synthesize the theoretical issues and empirical focus, formulate conclusions and proposals. Results: the article analysed the current state of radical Islamization of places of deprivation of liberty, the priorities in the development of activities to counter the spread of extremism. Discussion and Conclusions: despite the fact that the radicalization of prison care the entire world community, risk education "green" zones exaggerated and often not Islamophobic is used judiciously. The authors conclusions are based on statistical data of the Ministry of Internal Affaires on RT and the Federal Penal Correction Service, as well as good practices activities Anti-terrorist Commission of the Republic of Tatarstan.
