Foreign experience of disaster and emergency management

This article represents an overview of the reports from Diplomatic Establishments of Russian Federation in People’s Republic of China, Switzerland and Japan submitted to Emercom of Russia. The reports introduce outcomes resulted from the preparedness to fight natural disasters and man-made emergencies and also to eliminate their consequences on the basis of experience and lessons of past, unusual approaches to the emerging issues, and effective solutions in order to enhance resilience to adverse impacts. The information may be useful for experts employed in the scope of prevention of any origin emergency at planning and solution of tasks concerning population and terrains protection.
