The birth and establishment of parachuting in Russia

In this article the author examines the historical aspects of the parachuting formation and development in Russia. He marks the valuable contribution to the development of the military parachuting made by the talented Russian constructor G. E. Kotelnikov and skydiving pioneers of the USSR L.G. Minov, la. Moshkovskii etc.
