The bills of local reform introduced in the II State duma by faction of national freedom and labour group

The article deals with the projects of reforms of local government and self-government which were elaborated by Russian opposition at the beginning of the 20 th century. The author analyzes the programs of the Party of Peaceful renovation, party of democratic reforms, Party of People’s Freedom, RSDRP, Social Revolutionary Party, Popular Socialist Party, All-Russian Peasant Union, and also two bills of local reforms which had been introduced in the II State Duma by cadets and the labour group.
