Interaction of military and mining management bodies during the acceptance of military products at the state plants of the Urals in the first half of the 19th century

The article considers the formation of military acceptance bodies at state-owned mining plants of the Urals, distinguish the main activities of artillery acceptors, problems of their interaction with the local mining administration. The author notes, that as a result of numerous disputes between the Military and the Mining Department over product quality at the beginning of the 19th century, military commissioners were sent to state-owned factories and piers of the region, the order of their activities, the acceptance of guns, shells and other military products, as well as the settlement of disputes with the mining administration were legally defined. In the first quarter of the 19th century the structure of the military acceptance authorities headed by the chief artillery receiver in the Urals is drawn up. The military commissioners carried out interaction with the bodies of the mining administration in matters of testing and receiving military products, improving the quality of products and organizing their transportation to their destinations. Despite this, in the first quarter of the 19th century conflicts continued to arise between military receivers and mining authorities over the unsatisfactory quality of the products and a large percentage of the marriage.
