Interactions between citizens and refugees in the rear city during the World War I (on the materials of the Volga region)

The article analyzes the areas of interaction between the townspeople and refugees in rear cities during the First World War. The author reveals the economic, ethnic, confessional, demographic factors which distinguished for local population the presence of refugees in the cities of the Volga region.
