Unpaired silkworms form pockets of mass reproduction in the deciduous forests of Iran. Data on preferred fodder phytophagous breeds, features of phenology and pest biology are given. It is indicated that outbreaks are realized in the forests of the northern macroslope of the El'hurs ridge.
