Possibilities of ultrasonic study in the diagnostics of urethrolithiasis

The work shows the fundamental possibility of visualizing the ureter in renal colic syndrome. The developed scheme of the protocol for ultrasound examination of the ureters allows more reliable diagnosis of calculus in the ureters. The proposed modification of the ultrasound research method expands the capabilities of ultrasound in renal colic syndrome caused by calculus in the ureter. The method allows to determine the degree of dilatation of the urinary tract, to study the structure of the ureteral wall, the size of calculi. The described ultrasound criteria and the assessment of obstruction make it possible to select the tactics and method of treatment of patients in a short time.
