Internal and external factors of the formation and development of the scientific and educational environment of modern universities in Russia and China

The article presents some results of studying the peculiarities of the scientific and educational environment in modern universities of Russia and China. The development of level-based university education in Russia in the context of international interaction in the sphere of education has actualised the problem of studying the prospects for the development of the scientific and educational environment of universities in foreign countries in general, and in China in particular. This country is characterized by some peculiarities of socio-cultural development and is currently developing multilateral relations with the Russian Federation, including higher education.
