The paper discusses the questions of combining the recreational swimming and aqua fitness in classes with men of 50 - 59 years old. The positive effect of aquaaerobics on physical development, physical and functional training of men is pointed out. The obtained data can be used by fitness instructors in the recreational swimming classes.
