It has been studied the influence of different doses of lead, low doses of copper, zinc, and cortex on the biological activity of podzol soils and phytotoxicity. It has been stated that the activity of the released CO2 is a more informative index of pollution of podzol soils with heavy metals then the activity of catalaza.
