Effect of terbutaline hemisulfate and signal pathwa;^ modulators on phagocytic activity of neutrophils in vitro

It has been established that terbutaline hemisulfate in vitro (10"* M) decreases the phagocytic activity of the rat neutrophils. The effects of theophillin (3 mM) are similar. Preincubation with verapamil hydrochloride (0,025 mg/ml) stimulates the phagocytic activity of the rat neutrophils. Lithium oxybutyrate (1,5 mg/ml) has no influence on the neutrophil phagocytic activities.
