The impact of sanctions measures on the production of medicines in Russia

The article analyzes the consequences of the geopolitical crisis and sanctions pressure on the Russian pharmaceutical industry. It is concluded that the consumption structure has changed under the influence of a decrease in the marketing policy of foreign pharmaceutical companies. The 10 largest manufacturers of medicines for the period January-November 2023, key Russian manufacturers of the pharmaceutical industry were analyzed. According to the results of the study, it was concluded that the domestic pharmaceutical market has a high potential, which, together with state support for the pharmaceutical industry, will allow it to ensure development in the medium term.
