Influence of methods of welding on the stress-deformable state of a bended element

Бесплатный доступ

The uneven temperature heating that occurs during welding in the structural elements is accompanied by the appearance of internal stresses and residual deformations in them. Throughout the entire welding process, there is a constant change in temperature, and hence deformations and stresses at various points of the welded structural elements. The stresses, unlike the temperature field, do not disappear, since the process of their formation is irreversible. In construction practice, there are many methods of applying welds. In this paper, we will consider the dependences of the occurrence of deformations and stresses in the welded elements when using various methods of applying welds to metal. The stresses that occur in the element during heating will be analyzed, as well as a model is built in the ANSYS software package and the propagation of internal stresses in the element is clearly shown.
