Effect of human chorionic gonadotropin on production of interleukin-8 by intact monocytes. Role of Toll-like receptors

Бесплатный доступ

The effects of human chorionic gonadotropin (CG) on the production of Intelekin-8 (IL-8) by intact monocytes of women were studied. It was shown that hormone stimulation (100 IU / ml) of IL-8 production is carried out with the involvement of Toll-like protein 4 (TLR4) molecules, since the blockade of these receptors by antibodies partially canceled the effect of CG. Thus, a new mechanism of hormone interaction with monocytes, mediated by TLR4 molecules, which act as "alternative" hormone receptors, has been established.
