The authors of this article study the demographic processes (the natural movement and population shift) and their influence on change of population in the Ulyanovsk region. They show the demographic events of 2013- 2014 in districts, such as the birth and mortality as the main factors of influence. They also present the data on the population movement on different levels: with Russian regions, with the CIS countries and with other foreign countries.
