The sows during the period of pregnancy suffer a noticeable change of protein, carbohydrate, lipid and mineral metabolism as a result of the reduction of general protein, glucose, lipids and minerals. By the inclusion into the sows’ diet of the biologically active food additives the changes in the metabolic processes decrease. The reproductive function of sows by using in their diet the food additives rises as a result of the increase of the born youngsters and the decrease of the dead-born and weak pigs.
