Verb aspects and temporal prepositions «в» and «на»

The features of actions expressed by perfect and imperfect verbs are compared with the meanings of temporal prepositions «в» and «на». Analysis of the perfect verbs’ meaning and of the temporal preposition «в» revealed common features of «limitation» and «closeness», but the meaning of imperfect verbs and of the preposition «на» can be characterized by the absence of such implication.
