Inclusion of Tuva in the USSR (1944) - the beginning of a new stage in the formation and development of its intelligence

The article deals with the problems of the intelligentsia development after the entry of Tuva into the USSR. We reveal the prerequisites and conditions of this process in economic, socio-political and spiritual-ideological relations. Attention is focused on the importance of Tuva's entry into the USSR as a factor in a dynamic, planned process of creating a large, multi-sectoral, multinational socio-cultural community of knowledge workers. We have traced the ways of developing the intelligentsia: attracting representatives of the old intelligentsia, involving of persons of Arat descent to managerial activity, training specialists in higher and secondary specialized schools, inviting specialists from other regions. The article analyzes the ways and methods of training national personnel, focuses on the speedy solution of these problems. It has been revealed the losses in the environment of the emerging intelligentsia in the second half of the 1930s and in 1940s during the political repressions. We have shown the activity of the intelligentsia in various fields of public life.
