Choosing the optimal mining system is the most important step in the design of future ore production. All economic indicators of the mine operation depend on the development system (the system costs reach 60% of all total costs), the safety of miners, the use of certain mining equipment. Each system can be used only in certain mining and geological conditions, the choice of mining system is most significantly influenced by-the power of the ore body, the angle of incidence, the stability of the ore and the host rocks-these are constant factors; other factors, variables include-the size of the ore body by strike and fall, the morphology of the body, the value of the ore, the nature of the distribution of metal in it, the depth of development, the tendency of the ore to caking, oxidation and ignition, hydrogeological conditions, the need to preserve the earth's surface.
