A new device for osteosynthesis of proximal femoral fractures has been developed and introduced in clinical practice. 96 patients with femoral trochanteric fractures were operated on using the new device. Satisfactory and good results were obtained in 97.9 % of the patients operated, unsatisfactory results - in 2.1 % of them.
