The issue explored in this paper deals with presence of jewelry referred to the 1st group of the Dnieper early medieval hoards after O. A. Shcheglova at the sites of the Krivets line in the upper reaches of the Voronezh river. The aim of this publication is to find as many analogies to the jewelry referred to the 1st group of the Dnieper early medieval hoards retrieved from the Krivets-4 settlement as possible. The task is to find jewelry pieces similar to those discovered at this site. A comparative-typological method was used, when examining the finds. The outcome of this analysis is an increased number of analogies to the jewelry of the Dnieper cultural circle discovered at Krivets-4. The discovery of a hoard referred to the 1st group of the Dnieper early medieval hoards after O. A. Shcheglova near the town of Ostrogozhsk suggested that, probably, there was a ‘bridge' between the early Slav cultures of the Dnieper region and the sites in the upper reaches of the Voronezh river.
