The article reflects the results of a comparative analysis of the criminal legislation of the Russian Federation and China on the subject of combating corruption crimes. The norms of Chinese criminal law are considered, providing for liability for giving a bribe to a person with influence, unauthorized division of state property, unauthorized division of valuables in the form of fines, confiscated property. The areas of work to improve the criminal law mechanisms for combating corruption are outlined.
