Tribological failures of road-building machines

Article is devoted to a problem of tribological reliability of road-building machines. Types and characteristics of machine failures determined by tribological processes are considered. The general regularities of hydrogen wear as specific type of superficial destruction are defined. Ways of hydrogenous impact of surfaces of road-building machines details are established. On the basis of studying the regularities of wear of machines details the recommendations for ensuring tribological reliability of road-building machines are formulated.
