The formation features of wear resistance steels and alloys structure of preliminary tempering and nitriding dependence are investigated. It is shown, that the high preliminaty tempering is the factor of regulation of the structural state and wear resistance of steels. The struc-tural parameters of nitrided layer determining the wear resistance are revealed. The method for evaluation of nitride steels tribological efficiency is shown.
