The types of manifesting historicisms in the Russian novel

The article describes the types of historicisms in the Russian novel. The author characterizes and analyzes the content of the three types of historicisms, which are particularly typical for love-adventure and philosophical novels of the XVIII century. The author refers to the historical past for the purpose of a better comprehension of contemporary trends and embodiment of the concepts.
