Types of attitude toward the disease in women with malignant and benign tumor of the corpus uteri

The present article deals with the results of research of types of attitude toward the disease before and after the surgery (hysterectomy) in 70 women with uterine carcinoma and in 70 women with hysteromyoma. The present article deals with the peculiarities of attitude toward the disease, typical for patients with malignant and benign tumor formations of the corpus uteri. They have been identified in cancer patients: ergopathic, sensitive and anxious types of attitude toward the disease, in patients with myoma: ergopathic and sensitive types of attitude toward the disease. A significant negative correlation of ergopathic and anxious types in patients with uterine carcinoma and a significant positive correlation of ergopathic and sensitive types in women with hysteromyoma have been found. The data can be used to develop measures of psychotherapeutic treatment and rehabilitative actions for these patients.
