Typological bases and communicative limits of cultural self-identification

In article the typology of social and cultural development as the research strategy helping to reveal a community of the lines and characteristics distinguishing cultural communities from each other, to fix certain, qualitatively uniform stages of their development, to understand variety of cultural phenomena and to realize the real place in the world, to carry out a discourse of own legitimation in space of a symbolical Universum of culture and to prevent emergence of imaginary identity or their loss is considered. It is noted that realization of this research strategy meets a number of difficulties. The characteristic of the most widespread cultural typologies is given: historical, sociological, psychological, linguistic, anthropological, political.
