In this paper basic theoretic approaches to the term "agenda" are analyzed, main types of this phenomenon are distinguished and investigative value of "mass media agenda" is stated. Special attention is paid to the exploration possibilities of "mass media agenda" and problems, which scientists are facing while operating this category.
