Development trends of the regional transport and logistics systems

The article is devoted to the actual problems of transport and logistics development of regions in modern conditions of strategic priorities and tasks aimed at achieving a comprehensive effect in the subjects of the country. The article is focused on the transport and logistics system of the region as a complex multifunctional complex serving the needs of the population and industry entities of the business environment. The aim of the study is to identify trends in the development of regional transport and logistics systems based on the analysis of financial and economic indicators of transport services and the conditions for their implementation. The hypothesis of the research consists in the assumption that the functionalbuttarget approach to the formation of transport and logistics systems comes to the fore, which corresponds to scientific ideas about the priority role of demand and takes into account the laws of the development of needs for the quality of key characteristics of transport services: safety, speed, technology of service and payment, insurance. The main methods of research are system and situational approach, modeling of socioeconomic processes, formal logical analysis. The results of the work consist in the analysis of financial and economic indicators of transport logistics using the case of Volga Federal district and its regions, which will allow drawing a conclusion about the positive trends of recovery in the conditions of growing demand for transport services. The main directions of future research are related to the development of a methodological approach to assess the contribution of regional transport and logistics systems to the economy of the country's regions. Objective infrastructural and material characteristics of transport structure of the servicing enterprises, the high level of the prices in the periods of seasonal demand are restrictions of the development.
