Tendencies of the development of higher education system of Russia under conditions of formation of the knowledge based economy

Having analysed the features of the knowledge based economy the author outlines the requirements for education in the context of this type of economics. The article highlights the main development the higher education tendencies, which promote the bringing into conformity to these requirements.
