Need for structures of different materials in the industry, is growing in an increasing volume. Often, traditional methods of preparing compounds of dissimilar materials. As an example of joining dissimilar materials, consider the case of receipt of such assembly unit as the output of electrochemical protection (ECP). The authors propose a method of electro - pulse welding pressing (EPWP) for electrochemical protection (ECP), a process which avoids the disadvantages of thermite welding, such as the availability of additional measures to ensure the quality of the seam. The essence of the process lies in the EPWP that is carried out in a short time a high-speed bulk powder consolidation by passing through the powder mass a large current value, which leads to a compound of the copper wire and the pipeline surface. The tests yielded shear dependence, which is represented as a graph, shear force of the input energy that has allowed to allocate the optimum process parameters. Also, studies have been conducted with a view to the diversity of materials that might connect EPWP way. Analyses show the presence of a microstructure solid phase welding.
