The article considers the way the competencies of the undergraduates enrolled in «Accounting, Analysis and Audit» course should be assessed. The forms of control and technology of their application when measuring the level of students’ competences are described. The necessity to study the experience of leading Russian and foreign higher schools with the aim to improve the methodical teaching level and ensure implementation of pedagogical innovations is proved.
