Connected speech is the main achievement in the speech development of preschool children

This article examines the development of a coherent monologue speech, since it is the main task, it includes all the child's speech achievements. The development of the lexical side of speech is highlighted, which is focused on the work on the formation of an understanding of synonymous antonymic relations, exercises that show children the movement of a polysemantic word from a phrase to a sentence and from it to a coherent statement - which plays a big role in orienting the child to the meaning of the statement as a whole.
