Wedding-ceremonial culture of Mordva as a source of national self-consciousness

The article is an attempt to reveal the beauty of traditions and customs of one of representatives of Finno-Ugrian group, namely the Mordva. The authors analyze the definition of a customs, its influence on society development, the necessity of traditions and customs in the modern world, etc. Much attention is paid to Mordva wedding practices.
