Introduction. The study of the specifics of meaningful regulation of the personality during professional training is relevant in the modern changing conditions, when the new requirements to the personality are applied. The aim of the study is to identify the differences in the components of the life-meaning orientations and values of the personality depending on the presence or absence of the intrapersonal conflict or intrapersonal vacuum in the structure of the meaningful regulation of the personality. Materials and Methods. To obtain the diagnostic data the following methods were used: E. B. Fantalova "Level of the ratio of the "value" and "availability" in various spheres of life", the test of the life orientations by D.A. Leontiev. To identify the differences in the components of the respondents’ life orientations and values a nonparametric version of the method of one-factor dispersion analysis, the Kruskal-Wallis H-test, was employed. The nonparametric Wald-Wolfowitz test was applied to clarify the differences and pairwise comparison of the independent samples by the indicators of the life orientations and values. Results and Discussion. The subjects experiencing the intrapersonal conflict are focused on achieving their own significant life goals, primarily related to the material well-being, and obtaining the results satisfying them. At the same time, they are not inclined to be active and self-confident in order to achieve the results, do not strive for the new, unconventional actions. In their behavior they are more interested in their own inner world than in the external relations or external activity. The persons experiencing an intrapersonal vacuum are more focused on the outside world and the system of the external relationships, but they lack for an understanding of the individual meaning of what is being achieved. The subjects who do not experience the intrapersonal conflict are more oriented toward the system of the relationships, the outside world, tend to achieve the non-standard tasks and are more self-confident. Conclusions. The significant differences in the components of life-meaning orientations and values of the subjects with the intrapersonal conflict, experiencing the intrapersonal vacuum or without the intrapersonal conflict in the structure of the meaningful regulation were revealed.
