Online network civil activity strategies and value profiles of young Russians: results of cluster analysis and multi-dimensional scale

The article presents the features of the value portrait of Russian youth, differentiated by the type of civic and political activity in online and offline environments. The results are based on the results of the all-Russian mass survey of young people, the database of which was processed using the methods of cluster analysis and multidimensional scaling. Cluster analysis makes it possible to identify and describe various types of civic engagement among young Russians. Multidimensional scaling made it possible to identify the value profiles of representatives of various clusters of civic engagement. The results of the study are the conclusions about the psychosocial and axiological factors in the formation of various types of civic activity of the youth of the Russian Federation.
